MEET DR. CHUGHTAI
Board-certified physician Dr. Sameea Chughtai specializes in hair loss treatment at Aesthetic Scalp in Chicago, IL. Dr. Chughtai has been practicing for over a decade; she uses her years of experience to address a range of hair loss concerns and perform services for hair restoration, regenerative medicine, and eyebrow transplantation. Having experienced hair loss at several points in her own life, Dr. Chughtai is especially dedicated to providing women a comfortable, confidential environment to discuss their concerns and restore the natural look and feel of their hair using innovative, personalized techniques. She often incorporates holistic approaches with the latest developments in allopathic medicine to help her patients achieve their best appearance and help them rediscover their confidence. EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Chughtai attended the prestigious Case Western Reserve University in her native state of Ohio, where she studied biology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. After later earning her medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Chughtai went onto attend a residency in family medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. Once she earned her credentials, she practiced medicine in New York City for a period of time before returning to Chicago, IL, where she has since made her home. She is currently certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds a license to practice medicine in Illinois.

DR. CHUGHTAI’S HAIR RESTORATION EXPERIENCE
Dr. Chughtai’s personal hair loss story began when she was in college. During treatment for a medical condition, she was prescribed a corticosteroid that caused her hair to fall out. Although this side effect was only temporary, Dr. Chughtai never forgot how it felt to lose her hair. In more recent years, she experienced problems with hair loss once more during the childbirth process for each of her three children. In fact, one of her children also required her services for a condition called alopecia areata, a fairly common condition that attacks the hair follicles and leads to unpredictable, patchy hair loss.
